About the role
KaiWai Watersports Fiji is seeking an experienced and safety-focused Boat Captain to join our growing team. This position is based within the Mamanuca Islands, supporting our luxury resort and marine operations across Fiji’s premier island destinations.
As a Boat Captain, you will be responsible for the safe operation of vessels across our resort and island-based operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of maritime safety and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate and navigate vessels in accordance with maritime regulations and company procedures.
- Conduct pre-departure vessel checks and ensure vessels are maintained to a high standard.
- Deliver exceptional guest service and assist with guest activities as required.
- Maintain accurate vessel logs and operational records.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational procedures.
- Work closely with resort partners and operations teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience operating commercial vessels.
- Current Class 6 Restricted or Class 6 Full Licence.
- Strong knowledge of maritime safety procedures and local waters.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must reside in the Nadi area.
- Clean Police Record.
- Tourism, watersports, fishing, or resort experience will be an advantage.
